Adult Practice & Play Program
This daytime program is aimed at the INTERMEDIATE skill level for Men & Women (18+) who have flexible schedules and wish to PRACTICE, under the guidance of experienced coaches and PLAY.
Focus will be on improvement and fun in a positive environment.

THURSDAYS MAY 9-16-23-30
Men & Women Co-Ed Program
Intermediate (low- mid & high Int.) skills looking to Practice and Play.
Participants should have a decent understanding of 6 on 6 volleyball and experience with the flow of the game including defensive & offensive positions for outside hitters or middle hitters or setters.
Basic competency in passing, setting, serving & attacking. Errors will still be made but we hope to attract players that do not make frequent unforced errors when playing easy balls.
Not suitable for beginners.

Dates: Wednesday May 8- 29 ( 4 weeks)
Thursday May 9-30 (4 weeks)
June session to follow
Time: Session 1: 11am-1pm or Session 2: 1pm-3pm
Where: Toronto Volleyball Centre- 75 Carl Hall Rd in The Hangar at Downsview Park
Cost: EARLY BIRD PRICE $100 + HST per participant per 4 week session if registered & paid in full by May 2.
Regular price will be $120 + hst
Who: Men & Women with low to medium to high Intermediate skills looking to practice and play.
This is a Co-Ed program. Not suitable for beginners.
Structure: The Coaches will organize drills to practice & repeat some skill development and game play. Coaches will Mix & Match all the participants for the game play. Teams fluctuate weekly and we will distribute the participants to target competitive matches while maintaining skill levels. Coaches will provide feedback during the game play to assist with team and individual tactics.
Coaches: George Shermer & Elie Shermer
George is a co-owner of TVC and long time vb coach. He operated his own OVA youth club the JCC Blues for many years including coaching 2x Olympian Josh Binstock. Sheridan College Womens Head Coach, Region 5 OVA Coach, Madawaska VB Camp, Maccabi Canada Mens Head coach.
Elie has been involved in vb for most of his life. Played youth club vb for many years and collegiately at Seneca & Loyalist, earning a silver medal at Nationals. Assistant Coach of Humber College Mens VB from 2007-15, winning a National Championship in 2012. Club coach experience with Unity & Pakmen.
